Final Destination

On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing him and his friends. When he comes out of this grisly vision, Nick panics, persuading his friends to leave...escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. Jacko's Film ( This is It ) on september 2009

Akhirnya Film tentang "King Of Pop" Michael Jackson akan dirilis bulan September ini oleh Sony Pictures."Film yang berjudul This Is It tersebut digambarkan sebagai gambaran dekat Jacko yang tidak pernah diperlihatkan ke publik sebelumnya,\" ujar Sony Pictures dalam pernyataan tertulisnya. Tidak seperti biasanya, tiket pertunjukan film tersebut akan sudah mulai dijual pada 27 Septermber 2009, atau sekitar sebulan lebih dari tanggal peluncurannya. This Is It menceritakan tentang persiapan konser yang sedianya dilakukan pada 13 Juli 2009 lalu. Dalam film terlihat Jacko yang sedang melakukan gladi bersih pada April hingga Juni 2009 di London O2 Arena. Judulnya sendiri diambil dari salah satu lagu Jacko yang menjadi hits. This Is It diproduseri Kenny Ortega, yang sukses melalui filmnya High School Musical 3: Senior Year. "Film ini merupakan pemberian Michael untuk para penggemarnya. Film ini sangat personal dan eksklusif menggambarkan dunia sang jenius yang kreatif" ujar Ortega. Ortega menambahkan bahwa melalui film tersebut, penonton akan mendapatkan gambaran Jacko yang tidak umum ketika mempersiapkan konser terakhirnya. "Saya yakin konser itu sedianya menjadi masterwork Michael" tambah Ortega. Sebuah media Hollywood mengabarkan bahwa untuk mendapatkan rekaman saat Jacko melakukan gladi bersih konser tersebut, Sony Pictures mengeluarkan biaya hingga US$60 juta.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

This film is tells about a eight years old boy named Bruno, young Bruno lives a wealthy lifestyle in Pre-war Germany along with his mother, elder sister, and army Commandant father. The family re-locate to the countryside where his father is assigned to commandeer a prison camp. A few days later, Bruno befriends another youth, strangely dressed in striped pyjamas, named Shmuel who lives behind an electrified fence. Bruno will soon find out that he is not permitted to befriend his new friend as he is a Jew, and that the neighboring yard is actually a prison camp for Jews awaiting extermination.

This is actually a 2008 film direct by Mark Herman based on best selling novel by John Boyne , and its become a one of finest film about world war II in 2008. Young Bruno played outstanding by Asa Butterfield and he is nominated as Most Promosing new comers in British Independent Film Awards.

SXSW Film Fextival 2010

There are enough quality film festivals in the world now that one could easily go month-by-month and find at least three per that are “should attend” or “absolutely must attend” festivals. The SXSW Film Festival held in Austin, TX during the month of March is an annual “absolutely must attend,” mainly because it is a full-event/conference on film and the film industry while also being equally focused on technology and media with its Interactive component and, for those of you who adore music, being overwhelmingly supportive of numerous bands that come to town for the Music component in the waning days of the film festival. Austin is also home to arguably the greatest theater franchise in the world, the Alamo Drafthouse, and as such, there is no better place to see a movie than sitting in the Alamo with like-minded cinéastes.

That said, the 2010 SXSW Conferences and Festivals, running March 12-21, 2010, are currently open for registration. Those that register by September 25, 2009 get a significant discount, and while registration never seems to run out, accommodations always do. If you’re thinking of attending SXSW 2010, register early and put the money saved on the badge or badges towards a nice, close hotel room.
